I’m Can Karahaliloglu, a Senior IT Infrastructure & Virtualization Engineer with 16 years of hands-on experience in enterprise datacenter environments. My work spans VMware virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, SAN/NAS storage, SDDC, and hybrid cloud — from initial design and deployment through day-to-day operations and lifecycle management.

I hold VMware vExpert recognition four years running, including the vExpert Cloud Provider sub-program in 2021 — a community awarded to engineers actively contributing to the VMware ecosystem.

Since relocating to the Netherlands in 2022, I have been working exclusively in high-security and air-gapped enterprise environments — the kind where you cannot just Google your way out of a problem. That work kept me busy and away from writing. Starting today, that changes.
